Darkly imaginative, deliciously grotesque and deeply unsettling, God’s Leftovers is a brutal little novella that packs quite an unanticipated punch. Right out of the gate readers are transported to the sacred Valley of Fire, a desert expanse in Nevada, and this desolate stretch of sand houses a multitude of dark secrets.

Edgy and twisted, Natural Born Sinners is a gripping gothic occult fiction novel, with splashes of cosmic horror and dark romance. Satanos is a place of immoral release to escape the confines of the “real world”, but tourists always seem to receive more than they bargained for when they arrive upon its sinister shores. A mystifying tale of betrayal and one’s hunt for truth, all laid upon a backdrop of vile worship, this book was a page-turner, and my first read, but certainly not my last, by author J.M. Keep.
Where are all my dystopian sci-fi and horror readers out there? I’ve got a special book for ya today – a genre-bending tale of music and monsters…all the yes. Author B.A. Bellec joined me for a chat about all things writing and Pulse, this intriguing book of his, as part of the Pulse Book Blitz presented by Storytellers On Tour. There will be a few other features popping up across blogs and social media to show Pulse a bit of love, so keep an eye out. This is one you don’t want to miss!

Welcome to the Kickoff of the Dreams of the Dying Book Tour presented by Storytellers On Tour! We’re always told to never judge a book by its cover, but I mean…look at that cover! As soon as I spotted it along with its gripping blurb, I knew this was a book that I desperately needed in my life with its promise of everything I look for in a dark fantasy tale. For all you fans of Grimdark Fantasy and/or Psychological Horror with a bit of mystery thrown into the mix, be sure to stay tuned throughout this upcoming week as we showcase Nicolas Lietzau’s chonker of a novel, Dreams of the Dying, book one of the Enderal series. I’m champing at the bit to hear what everyone thinks of this one, it’s going to be an exciting week.
I have been waiting for this day to come and it’s finally here. You know when you read a book that it just SO GOOD, you desperately need to tell everyone about it? For me it’s A Ritual of Flesh by Lee C Conley. I already had a chance to shout about it from the rooftops last year when I got to read this gem of a book (you can check out my review here), but I’m thrilled I get to do it again.

Today I’m thrilled to welcome back A. J. Vrana as we kick off the The Echoed Realm Book Tour presented by Storytellers On Tour! I originally hosted an interview with A. J. for an installment of the Whispers & Wonder Ladies of Grimdark series, where I also read and reviewed her dark and folklore-heavy The Hollow Gods. I loved this book, and was beyond lucky to get my pre-order of The Echoed Realm early! If you’re a fan of Dark Fantasy melded with Magical Realism and Horror, with a focus on the psychological aspects of both, then The Chaos Cycle Duology may just be the series you’re looking for. Oh, and add in a foul-mouthed, spiteful, brooding MC for good measure!
