Welcome to the Kickoff of the Dreams of the Dying Book Tour presented by Storytellers On Tour! We’re always told to never judge a book by its cover, but I mean…look at that cover! As soon as I spotted it along with its gripping blurb, I knew this was a book that I desperately needed in my life with its promise of everything I look for in a dark fantasy tale. For all you fans of Grimdark Fantasy and/or Psychological Horror with a bit of mystery thrown into the mix, be sure to stay tuned throughout this upcoming week as we showcase Nicolas Lietzau’s chonker of a novel, Dreams of the Dying, book one of the Enderal series. I’m champing at the bit to hear what everyone thinks of this one, it’s going to be an exciting week.

I have been waiting for this day to come and it’s finally here. You know when you read a book that it just SO GOOD, you desperately need to tell everyone about it? For me it’s A Ritual of Flesh by Lee C Conley. I already had a chance to shout about it from the rooftops last year when I got to read this gem of a book (you can check out my review here), but I’m thrilled I get to do it again.

Change drifts on the wings of revolution in We Men of Ash and Shadow, HL Tinsley’s gritty and captivating Dark Fantasy debut. With flavors of mystery noir, this book tells of a city firmly crushed under the boot of tyranny, while the whispers of a uprising begin to emerge from the underground. A tale whose tone is built upon crippling misplaced guilt and the foreign concept of redemption, Tinsley crafts an investigation that takes its readers along a path paved with lies and blood. In order to attempt to restore a city to its former glory, one must choose a side. But doing so could lead to catastrophic consequences.
