A decadent feast for the heart and soul, To Free the Rising Storm is the spellbinding dark romantic fantasy debut from author C.N. Maxwell. Book one of The ReEmergence Chronicles transports readers to a world drenched in history to embark on a journey of profound metamorphosis. Maxwell pens a stunning tale of weathering the storm and being reborn into something…more. Love. Loss. Betrayal. Pain. Family. Fate. It’s dazzling and tragic in equal measure, and one of the best debuts I’ve had the pleasure of reading.

Over the last few years there has been an incredible month-long celebration of the self-publishing community, and this past September I spotted a beautiful book that quickly landed on my TBR. I can’t tell you how thrilled I was when author Brianna da Silva reached out to chat about said book, City of Reckoning. If you’re in the market for an epic fantasy tale led by unconventional non-human MCs and a sprawling, rich world, then maybe this chonker of a book is just the one you’re looking for. Today I’m thrilled to take part in showing Jacob Sannox’s dark epic fantasy novel a bit of love, even if it’s just for a spotlight for now. I’m already familiar with Sannox’s work as I’ve read and thoroughly enjoyed The Ravenmaster’s Revenge, which I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Arthurian Fantasy with a twist. So, this first book in his The Dark Oak Chronicles series is definitely towards the top of my to-read list. I cannot wait to hear what everyone thinks of this one, so stay tuned for a fantastic week ahead!

I can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks about this one! Stay tuned, it’s going to be a fantastic week ahead.

Today I’m excited to welcome one of my favorite people to the blog – the wonderful and amazing Jeramy Goble! I’m joining in the blitz for his epic fantasy novel, Eulogy for the Dawn, book one of the Wrathlore series, and to celebrate this beautiful book of his, I dig deep and ask all the tough questions. I was first introduced to Jeramy’s writing with his Greco-Roman-inspired epic fantasy tale Briz and Bayla: The Bronze Age Bounty Hunters, and really enjoyed spending time in the world he created. The premise of Eulogy for the Dawn sounds fantastic, and I hope to read this one shortly, as well!
