Where are all my dystopian sci-fi and horror readers out there? I’ve got a special book for ya today – a genre-bending tale of music and monsters…all the yes. Author B.A. Bellec joined me for a chat about all things writing and Pulse, this intriguing book of his, as part of the Pulse Book Blitz presented by Storytellers On Tour. There will be a few other features popping up across blogs and social media to show Pulse a bit of love, so keep an eye out. This is one you don’t want to miss!
Storytellers On Tour has given me the opportunity to meet and work with so many incredible authors from the indie SFF community, and today is no exception! It’s an absolute honor to welcome author Sean R. Bell to the blog for the official Kickoff of The Secret of the Sword Book Tour. So, what makes The Grandfather Chronicles Trilogy so special? Take cherished personal memories and combine them with flavors of Arthurian legend, and you have the makings of a unique story ready to branch out into the world. I don’t know about you, but I LOVE tales of King Arthur and his knights, retellings, twists, all of it! What are some of your favorite legends?
Today I’m honored to begin the Storytellers On Tour celebration of the epic conclusion of Jonathan Nevair’s sci-fi Wind Tide series with the kickoff of the No Song, But Silence Book Tour! We began this journey with Goodbye to the Sun, continued on with Jati’s Wager, and now we’re reaching our destination with No Song, But Silence (these titles though!). If you’re already a fan of the series, or just first hearing about it, I urge you to take a look at what our incredible hosts have had to say throughout. The holidays are right around the corner and that special sci-fi fan in your life would LOVE these, jussayin’…or maybe just pick up a few to treat yourself!
Today marks the official kickoff of the The Living Waters Book Tour presented by Storytellers On Tour, and I’m thrilled to welcome back Dan Fitzgerald as we celebrate the embarking of a new adventure with the first novel of his Weirdwater Confluence duology! A sword-free fantasy journey of love, meditation and magic, The Living Waters is a fresh delve into a corner of the genre I believe needs more attention, so I can’t wait to hear what our hosts think of it! Stay tuned, it’s going to be a fantastic week.
Welcome to the Kickoff of the Dark Oak Book Tour presented by Storytellers On Tour! Today I’m thrilled to take part in showing Jacob Sannox’s dark epic fantasy novel a bit of love, even if it’s just for a spotlight for now. I’m already familiar with Sannox’s work as I’ve read and thoroughly enjoyed The Ravenmaster’s Revenge, which I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Arthurian Fantasy with a twist. So, this first book in his The Dark Oak Chronicles series is definitely towards the top of my to-read list. I cannot wait to hear what everyone thinks of this one, so stay tuned for a fantastic week ahead!
Welcome to the Kickoff of the Miss Percy’s Pocket Guide to the Care and Feeding of British Dragons Book Tour presented by Storytellers On Tour! What a glorious mouthful that title is, huh?! Today I’m honored to share with you all a bit about this incredible comedic fantasy tale of manners from author Quenby Olson, as well as something really special. I’m really excited to hear what our tour hosts think of Miss Percy, so stay tuned! We’ve got a fantastic week ahead.
We all have a list of genres we’d love to explore more, always on the hunt for that one book to open the floodgates and introduce us to a whole new world of literary adventures. Sci-Fi Thrillers are not something I tend to read very often, but I’ve been looking for one to help me dive a bit deeper. Cue Moon Rising by Daniel Weisbeck, book one of The Upsilon Series. Not only do readers get Science Fiction, but also a fresh sub-flavor of Biopunk. With the recent push of the cyberpunk aesthetic across other types of media, I can’t think of a better book to become acquainted with.
Today I’m thrilled to be joining in with the Storytellers Roadies to show off the stunning debut fantasy novel from author Mark Cushen, Little White Hands. I remember spotting this cover prior to its release, and I instantly fell in love with everything about it. With the promise of an epic adventure filled with fantastical creatures to be enjoyed by all ages, the tale of Garlan Greatheart is one I CANNOT wait to read. Every once in a while we need those feel-good stories, amirite?! This seems like it fits the bill perfectly, and I’m very much looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks of it.
Welcome to the Kickoff of the Gravitas Book Tour presented by Storytellers On Tour! I’m so excited to be joined again by the awesome Christopher Russell as we begin a week of showcasing his new dark epic novella, Gravitas, part of A Tale of the Constella. Last year we had the pleasure of showing off his debut novel, Divinity’s Twilight: Rebirth, one that was received quite well with our Roadies, and we jumped at the chance to do the same with this bite-sized morsel of an adventure. I can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks about this one! Stay tuned, it’s going to be a fantastic week ahead.
Welcome to the Kickoff of the Creation Book Tour presented by Storytellers On Tour! It’s always an absolute pleasure to welcome Bjørn Larssen to the blog, and I can’t tell you how excited I am to shout about this new weird and wonderful, satirical series of his, Why Odin Drinks. Ever wonder how the world came to be? Well, Larssen gives us the answers through the eyes of weary god learning how to god. This one seems like a blast, and I can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks about it. Stay tuned, it’s going to be a fantastic week ahead!
