Over the last few years there has been an incredible month-long celebration of the self-publishing community, and this past September I spotted a beautiful book that quickly landed on my TBR. I can’t tell you how thrilled I was when author Brianna da Silva reached out to chat about said book, City of Reckoning. If you’re in the market for an epic fantasy tale led by unconventional non-human MCs and a sprawling, rich world, then maybe this chonker of a book is just the one you’re looking for. We all have a list of genres we’d love to explore more, always on the hunt for that one book to open the floodgates and introduce us to a whole new world of literary adventures. Sci-Fi Thrillers are not something I tend to read very often, but I’ve been looking for one to help me dive a bit deeper. Cue Moon Rising by Daniel Weisbeck, book one of The Upsilon Series. Not only do readers get Science Fiction, but also a fresh sub-flavor of Biopunk. With the recent push of the cyberpunk aesthetic across other types of media, I can’t think of a better book to become acquainted with.
Today I’m thrilled to be joining in with the Storytellers Roadies to show off the stunning debut fantasy novel from author Mark Cushen, Little White Hands. Every once in a while we need those feel-good stories, amirite?! This seems like it fits the bill perfectly, and I’m very much looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks of it.
