Creatures of all kinds go to the Barista to find love, including the devilishly sexy incubus known as Dante.

Dante wants to find his soul mate— someone that won’t scream when they see his horns, his tail, and his…other thing. Thousands of years of seduction and power, and he still can’t fill the hole in his heart.

When the Barista sets Dante up with a human named Peter, he realizes that he’s never wanted anyone else more. Peter is resistant though, especially when it comes to the L word.

Dante has his work cut out for him if he’s going to finally get his own little slice of hell.

This novella has the following:

  • Hot MONSTER Scenes
  • Special package….
  • Fated Mates Love
  • BDSM
  • Sword Crossing
  • And more 😉

The Creature Cafe Series follows the Barista and who he matchmakes. Each book will have a different monster finding their true love, tons of spicy scenes, and special *ahem* appendages. Follow Clio Evans on Instagram, Facebook, or Tiktok to stay up to date on monster related shenanigans.

The Review

This is the cliff, and once you fall— I will forever be the only one that can catch you.

Well…Let. Me. Fallllll. Little Slice of Hell is the first installment in Clio Evans’ Creature Cafe series, a universe where everyone is deserving of love, whether they’re human or grotesque monster. This captivating story has snared and pulled me beneath its relentless waves, and I don’t see myself surfacing any time soon.

At the heart of this tale lies two souls. Peter, a human searching for his monster, despite the trauma he has endured at the hands of one in the past. And Dante, an incubus seeking his other half after a hunt spanning millennia. Cue the Barista and his matchmaking magic – sparks fly as soon as their eyes meet beneath that obscene Minotaur portrait. And those sparks are fanned into an inferno as the story continues on. Of course there’s a bit of internal conflict that occurs, but you’ll just have to read to discover how everything pans out.

I want someone I can love. Someone I can control. Someone that can be my pet. That will let me do all the things I want to do with them. I take delight in violence, in giving pain. But I also take delight in giving the most painful pleasure possible…

🥵🥵🥵

Kinks! Kinks everywhere! I mean, when you have a thousands-year-old sex demon taking center stage, how could you possibly expect otherwise? Yes, he has a tail…and other things. Evans takes great care in presenting the surrender of control in this brewing Dom/Sub relationship, so a huge shoutout to her for giving this dynamic the respect it deserves. If you’re looking for steam, you’ve come to the right place. Trust me, the spice in this one is off the charts.

For such a tiny story, readers are presented with a pretty solid background and a wonderful introduction into the Creature Cafe universe. Color me intrigued with these bite-sized tales of love and desire, all essentially surrounding the Barista himself. Who is he? Will he ever find his love? Guess I need to keep reading to find out!

Little Slice of Hell is a great read for anyone who’s a fan of monster romance looking for more, or even those looking to dip their toes into the subgenre. Sure, boundaries are obliterated, and some things may not be your cup of tea, but beneath all the delicious smut is a rich world waiting to be explored. Little Sip of Sin here I come! Loved it. Gimme more.

Hello Creatures 😍

My name is Clio Evans. I’m a lover of all things that go bump in the night, fancy peens, coffee, and chocolate.

My monster of choice is a werewolf although I’m starting to lean more towards kraken shifters. I love writing fun romances with a dark edge. My characters are all a little crazy, kinky af, and have big hearts that they just want to share with another.
